Thrift Shop
The Overlake Service League
operates a Thrift Shop located in Bellevue
Square. Thanks to the generous donations from
businesses and the community, the Thrift Shop
helps in part to provide the financial resources
that support the League's direct services and
giving programs; working together, building a
better community, self-sufficient lives and
secure futures.
Thanks to the generous donations from businesses and the community,
Overlake Service League is able to provide free clothing to those
in need on an on-going basis through the League’s Voucher and
Gift Certificate Giving programs. Vouchers and Gift Certificates are
disbursed to individuals, families and children at the time of their
assessment by our Social Service Administrator.
A schedule for continued support through the Voucher & Certificate programs
are established based on the recipients needs. The Overlake Service League
Thrift shop also helps in part to provide financial resources that help support
other League Giving programs as well.
The OSL Thrift Shop is
supported completely by donations. Volunteers
donate over 10,000 hours of their time each year
keeping the store stocked and operating.
The Thrift Shop accepts
donations of new and gently used small houseware
items, clothing for the entire family, jewelry,
collectables, accessories and books. Quality
donations are important to our success. Please
be sure your donations are clean, in good condition
and saleable. We appreciate the added time you spend
sorting out unusable merchandise. It keeps our
costs down and aids our mission.
