Breaktime/Mealtime

Malnutrition has very serious costs in children's emotional, physical and intellectual development. Breaktime/Mealtime makes a real difference in children's lives by helping to insure that no child suffers temporary or permanent damage from lack of food. Breaktime/Mealtime provides breakfast and lunch food items for low-income families whose children are enrolled in Head Start, Free or Reduced Lunch programs at their schools to compensate for food they would normally receive while school is in session.

Applications for Breaktime/Mealtime are available through the Administrative Office at your local Bellevue schools, Family Connection Centers and Bellevue School District "Head Starts" prior to school break.
